Charles Warren Maxwell, 44, has lived in Kingsport his whole life. He graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School in 1986. Right after graduation, he joined the United States Navy, where he stayed until 1988 with an honorable discharge. He is saved and loves the LORD. He is a member of New Hope Baptist Church, who also plays the bass guitar. Charles is very active in his church and enjoys doing work for the Lord. Charles is a people person and has a great love for senior citizens.

In 1992, Charles attended Cecil's College in Asheville, NC.,(transportation div) and then trained with Builder's Transport Trucking Company. This was the start to many miles on the road and away from home. Charles has driven for many companies over the years and has owned his own 18-wheeler tractor trailer. Charles has been driving trucks (18-wheelers) for more than13 years with over a million miles accident free. Some of the companies he drove for were:

Charles is the proud Owner and President of Maxwell Coach Company Inc., formed on May 26, 2005. He has been driving buses for more than 11 years with a perfect record. He still helps and sometimes drives for other companies. Those companies are as follows:
